Our Process
Seven steps between a cold shower and a working heater.
Whatever the brand and whatever the code, every tankless call follows the same sequence.
You call
Tell us the brand, any code on the display, and what the water is doing. You hear the likely cause and a price range.
The stored codes are read
Most units keep a history of recent faults. Reading it first shows whether today's code is new or a repeat.
Gas and power are checked
Inlet gas pressure is measured with the burner firing, and the power supply is confirmed, because both cause codes that look like failed parts.
Flow, filter and venting are tested
The inlet filter is cleaned, the flow rate checked, and the intake and exhaust inspected for blockage.
The suspect part is measured
Flame rod, igniter, flow sensor, thermistors and board are tested against the maker's values before anything is ordered.
You approve the price
The failed part and the cost go on a written quote. If a repair is a poor spend on an old unit, you hear that too.
It is fixed and run hard
The part is replaced or the exchanger descaled, then several taps run at once while the outlet temperature is watched.
